Roy Kapani

Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer

Roy Kapani is the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of SEACORP, Headquartered in Middletown, Rhode Island. In this role, Mr. Kapani is focused on leading the Company’s growth objectives through a combination of organic and strategic acquisition.

Prior to SEACORP, Mr. Kapani was the Chairman and CEO of ECS, Headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia, which he founded in 2001 and grew to over 2500 full time employees generating $680 million in annualized revenue. ECS was acquired by ASGN (ASGN:NASDAQ) in 2018. Mr. Kapani was responsible for establishing ECS as one of the largest privately owned government technology contractors in the United States.

Before ECS, Mr. Kapani was an Executive Vice President for Computer Based Systems, Inc. (CBSI), Headquartered in Fairfax Virginia. During his tenure at CBSI, Mr. Kapani was instrumental in transitioning the company from its status as a small business provider to the Federal Government to a full and open provider of complex information technology services.

Mr. Kapani currently serves on the Board of Directors for Johns Hopkins Medical Institute, an Advisory Board Member for the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), a Trustee for the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress (CSPC), Trustee for the Meridian International Center, Executive Advisory Board for the George W. Bush Presidential Center. He was the recipient of the 2014 Ernest and Young (EY) Entrepreneur of the Year in Government Services. He is also a member of the Economic Club of Washington, DC and the Young Presidents Organization (YPO).

Mr. Kapani holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, College Park and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Finance from George Washington University.
